Does anyone know where to find the detailed info on the remaining stand-by and talking time of the T610. I cannot find it anywhere on the phone menu. I had it fine when using my t68i. Hope they didn't do away with it...

Yeah me too.

So if you're reading this Mr. SE...How about it for a firmware upgrade?

Is this true, no battery info. That's one of favourite SE features.

On the SE web site (in the T610 FAQ I think it was) they say that remaining battery standby and talk time could be seen by pressing the volume button in standby mode, just like on my T65. I guess you guys would have tried this though.

the faq is wrong then because it certainly isn't there.

I don't know what the fuss is really. who really cares if they have 300 hours or 200 hours standby left. Doesn't the battery display at the top right hand side tell you all you need to know? if its less than a 1/4 then it might be an idea to charge?

I partly agree 'masseur'. However, the functionality quickly gives you an average no. of standby hours left upon which you can decide in some situations whether you need to charge the battery or not.

A battery icon only gives you the standby time that is left as an percentage, which may be needed to be translated into hours.

Example: Does a T610, which is is showing a half full battery icon, need a charge as a preparation for a weekend trip?

Another issue is how accurate the standby time (in t68, t65 etc.) really are, but such a discussion already exists as another topic in this forum.

Who claims the T610 does not have battery info?

Ahh, now I understand - you've meant that standby indicator...
...and not this Battery Info menu item under Settings (which has to be enabled by a special software).
