Does it effeckt your standby time with GPRS set to ON in the menu where you can choose to use GPRS and GSM, or GSM only? Another question about GPRS: I noticed that when you send a MMS the signal for GPRS (In the upper left corner) shows up, even though it's set to GSM only... Is that because you use GPRS when you send a MMS? I think that's why, but I don't have a GPRS subscription with my operator...!?
Ups, didn't mean to post it in this forum... Posted it in the GPRS forum... Isn't it possible to delete a post?

GPRS doesn't effect battery unless you are using it. That menu is only a setting.
MMS uses GPRS to send/Recieve Messages.
