Have been trying to find the exact info on the forum about this but seems to be scattered.

I have t68i with infrared communication to my pc. How do I download themes, pictures, ringtones from my pc to phone? Is there software out there? Where can I find it?

Thanks in advance.

if you have an ir...you don't need the sendfile program

just go to my computer, click ir recepient, then click send files, then browse the file you want to send to your phone

Yeah, most operating systems have built-in irDA support. This message was posted from a T300

Finally I managed to transfer gif file to PC with data cable and save it, view it etc. It's pretty long process, but if somebody is desperate and for some reason doesn't want/can't use irda or BT, might try it. Here's how i did it:

1.Assign pictures u want to transfer to pc to any contact in ur phonebook.

2.Make backup with Christerssons phonebackup.

3.Open backup file and copy pics in text format u want to save (just body, without "PHOTO;ENCODING=BASE64;TYPE=GIF:" part. Remember what pic u assigned to which contact).

4.Remove "" tags from copied text (i.e. use MS Word "find and replace") and save each pic as txt file.

5.Now u got to decode pics from BASE64 encoding. I used little program called AzaleaBase64. Decode txt file and as output format set picturename.txt and rename to gif/jpg depending on pic type.

Done!
