Can T 610 receive and play back video stream?
Is it possible to record video (without audio) with the help of an additional software?

not that there'll be any space on the t610 but can it be done thru a java application or something? after all the player on the 3650 has to be a java app too... i know that 3650 being a smartphone can have applications integrate into the OS but is there even a remote chance it can be done on the t610?

unfortunately, as we all know, the java implementation on the T610 is the worst out there today. slow and lack of many API support...
this is also one API that it doesnt support, it's called media API and the T610 supports only a subset of that (just midi playback).

For the 7650 there came a official little install file from Nokia, so the users could also use it as a videocamera. The video files were just 10 to 15 kb for 10 seconds. So such an update is impossible on the T610??
