Hi all,

As is widely reported - a number of people are having problems with BT Crackle when using a T610.

I've now used a HBH-30, HBH-35 and Jabra BT200 with my T610 and they all have the crackle problem (although it is definately not so bad with the BT200).

So today I phoned SE and explained the problem. Apparently I am the first person to report this issue to them (yeah right !).

They have told me that I need to send my phone to Celestica so that they can have a look.

Has anyone else done this ?? and did Celestica fix the problem ?? I'm reluctant to send away my phone if it is only going to come back with the problem not resolved.

If someone can confirm that they have sent it away and its come back without the problem then I don't mind sending it .. But it would be good to hear if any of you have actually done this.

Thanks,

Mark

Forget SE customer service, why not just call Celestica themselves and ask them if they have a fix for it? They are on 01952 230 402

Let us know!

FYI...I originally sent my T610 to Celestica to fix both the hissing AND BT static. I clearly stated the BT static problem int he letter I sent but when I received the phone back it was still there which leads me to believe they couldn't do anything about it.

I've tried 3 different T610s (03W23+) and they all have varying forms of static. The T616 (NA version) does NOT have static at all and is incredibly clear so it could be a problem with T610 production in general.
