Hi,
Boy am I glad to find you guys, looks like I'm not alone the battle to get bluetooth working!
Ok, I like many other people have both dial-up and file transfer working ok using the XTND Blue Manager V2.2 which I've downloaded from InnoVision Multimedia who make the dongle. I do not know how to check the version of Phone Monitor.
My problem is that I desperately want to synchronise with Outlook using the SE software provided or later from the web, but I cant get Phone Monitor to see my phone.
Can anyone help? I'm not sure what to try next.

i have the same dongle as you and believe the problem you are having with it is the software with the dongle does nt support ftp or syncro.
what i did to get around this problem is to use another maufacterers software.
in my case i used the tecom products software and drivers.most dongle are the same under the surface so you can try other peoples software.
i beleive the tecom stuff you can download off there website anymore without a product key so i would suggest try the msi website.
make sure you uninstall all the software related to bluetooth that you have on already including drivers and remove the dongle then start a fresh with the new software and drivers
