Hi (again),
Through other posts, I've managed to get GPRS set up for both BTOpenworld POP3 email and ntl POP3 email, as well as wap browsing.
I also have a dial-up data account to access the BTOpenworld POP3 server.
What I want now is a dial-up data account for my ntl POP3 server (for when I go abroad and maybe the GPRS rates are too expensive, or GPRS is unavailable);
I thought I could get all the details [url=http://www.ntlworld.com/help/generalHelp/settings.html]here
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Steven.

I don't about about the settings you require but I would suggest you rethink not using GPRS. To do what you want to do you will need to make an international call to UK to dial-in unless you can find a local ISP to connect with.
Vodafone GPRS is not much more expensive when roaming on a vodafone network elsewhere. I have been repeatedly told (because I never believe them unless I get the same answer 3 times!) that roaming on a vodafone network using GPRS costs the same as GPRS in UK with the addition of a connection charge which amounts to a 1 minute call from where you are back to UK.
I regularly roam around Europe and it works very well.
anyway... just a thought (assuming you do visit countries with Vodafone!)

Cheers for that.
I regularly travel to Spain (and use Movistar & Airtel). I guess GPRS will be available, but just want the dial-up option as a backup plan!
Cheers,
Steven.
