hullo all.
1. i think this is a longshot, but is there any possible way to change the message alert tone to other than the 7 provided?
2. when i push the joystick upwards, it goes straight to the net (and i rarely use it). anyway can i change this to.. let's say.. as a shortcut to change my profile (it's so tedious to change ur profle on a t610). to change my profile i always use >, 3, 3.. anyone know a better way?

2 - I have changed the "change profile" in shortcuts to have position "1". This way when you push the joystick to the left it will go to change profile instead of writing a new message. I have done it this way because I change profile more often than I write messages.

If the first item on the shortcut menu is dimmed (unavailable) then you wil have access to your shortcuts by hitting 'left' only. So 'left' '3' gives a two key access to profiles if profiles would be third item on your shortcuts.
howto:
- Find an unavailable item by traversing all menus. These items a dimmed, gryaed out. In my case connectivity/accessories is unavailable.
- ‘Check’ that item on the shortcut/edit menu and set it at position one. It is NOT dimmed on the shortcut/edit choice menu while choosing! I could also choose an inbox, because there were no messages in it I believe.
- Save. Goto My Shortcuts. The item is on position 1 and is dimmed. Goto the desktop (hold the back key, just one stroke), joystick ‘left’ and you are in the shortcut menu.

Sorry Dick, But I have trouble understanding some of your speech.
Particularly "So 'left' '3' gives a two key access to profiles"
I checked "edit" in the shortcuts menu, and there is nothing dimmed. Does this mean I cannot change joystick up? Its annoying because when you forget to lock the keys, the joystick will connect to the internet.
