The only options I have available are through the web and usb data cable....
i want to know how to send it via the usb cable...cuz it's free that way....is there ANY way to make this happen???

Only way I've done it is via the IR on the phone to my laptop. But it should be possible via USB and the correct software in your computer.

I think I once read a thread here about irDA connections, and they were saying that you can do more via the irDA connection than via cable (shame at SE). I think sending pictures was mentioned as not possible via cable...

i get the phone in 1 week so i haven't been able to look at that. just trying to see if i need to buy an ir thingie or not, cuz i already have a usb cable.

A USB cable is one way(only to the phone). The IR adaptor is both. I don't get it either.
