Hi there,

I don't suppose such software exists anywhere (?) but I reckon it would be neat if someone (?) could write some PC software for:

1) Writing SMS messages, which can then be sent via the phone,

2) To edit the profiles/data accounts on the phone.

What do you think?

I know it's probably not much help to you but the ability to send SMS's via a Bluetooth mobile is built-in to Mac OS X (through the Address Book).

Also, GSM Remote does a similar job but isn't integrated into the OS.

For Windows users, do any of these programs do what you're looking for?

Close (I think), but no cigar: these are all packages for people without mobile phones. I'd like to be able to write SMS on my PC screen, and then send them through my mobile ( :bt: , IrDA, cable).

i dunno of any software that is capable of doing both. i use fMa for SMS writing and used to use the offical SE software, Ericsson Phone Settings to edit the profile from the PC and update my phone

Yup, that's what I use, plus you can do a load of other stuff with it, p800 becomes spy camera for another room in your house! Nice little app for sure...
