Is this anything/nothing strange?
Underneath the battery in my gold Ericsson T68m, the label says:
'Sony Ericsson
Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB...'
The label says the handset is R1A hardware, made 02w24...
So, were
just trying to shift a load of Ericsson-made handsets..?

It is nothing strange. My R380world was even made by Sony Ericsson in Sweden. My sister's T68mc was also made by Sony Ericsson.

The majority are made in Malaysia by SE.

Because all phones from Ericsson and Sony was SonyEricsson phones after the jointventure was announced. Which was in october 2001, a bit after that they started labeling the phones with SonyEricsson.
