Hi alanranch,
If you receive an sms with a phone number included all you have to do is scroll down the message to the phone number, you should find the phone number has a line underneath it. The phone number should be highlighted now, either click yes or push joystick, scroll down to save-(the number you want), it should say contact added. Now go to the phone book, add contact, fill in the persons details as normal, then when you want to put the phone number in, push joystick or yes, then push joystick left you should see 3 options, select unsaved numbers and your required number should be at the top of the list, click yes on the number, then yes again if you don't want to edit it. Save the contact.
Maybe somebody knows a better way, a bit faster perhaps?
