I've just upgraded my T68i to a T610. Whilst I was charging the phone, the joystick in the middle of the phone lit up red, much like the light on top of T68i. My question is, should the joystick light up any other colour (like green, when receiving a network). I'm sure I read that it should somewhere but mine does not and I'm unsure if I need to send it back ?

Thanks

The production ones only have the red LED while charging or when the battery is low.
I saw a prototype with blinking green while normal usage. i picked my T610 to pieces and there's just one LED under the joystick, it might be a dualcolor one though.

Well. maybe i wasn't clear. it could be a dualcolor one, with the SW just using the red color. right ?

OK Thanks.

I think I'll be taking it back anyway. I'm one of the unfortunate ones who have bought this phone on the Vodafone network. WHY have the changed the icons to those crappy cheap looking things.

It'll have to go back. I can't find a solution anywhere.

There is a guy on this board or maybe it was howardforums who claims to be able to get rid of the voda-crap. Don't know who, but a "search" should help ya out.

Been searching all night. This is the first and last time I go with Vodafone. What gives them the right to ruin a phone like that. It's made me really angry. Surely they must realise the bad vibe it's causing.

Only bought the phone yesterday. Do I have cancellation rights to cancel my new contract ?

I also, bought from phones4u which I think was another mistake reading this forum!!!!!! Next time, I'll be here before I buy, that's for sure.
