Hi guys, have just got a T610 on 02 in the UK.. I have a question maybe someone can help with.

I access the camera and hit capture to take a picture, but no option comes up to store the picture or do anything.. I hear the noise during capture then it just goes right back as if i hadnt taken it at all.. Is this a problem with my phone or am I just being dull?

Cheers

Neil

After having taken a picture you should get an icon looking like a floppy disk above the joystick. Press the joystick and the picture is saved.

Hm I posted that wrong..

Just checked again, what happens is either

* I go to the camera using the camera button hit capture, hear the noise, it says please wait then drops me to the wallpaper
or
* I go to the camera using the icon menu and hit capture, hear the noise it says please wait then drops me to the icon menu again..

No disk appears, no option to save or anything

That sounds a bit strange.. after hearing the sound and waited for a sec you should get the pic you took on the screen and 3 options: "send" on left softbutton, "discard" on right softbutton and the floppy icon in the middle above the joystick.

N3il, I have read maybe half dozen other threads here with similar symptoms and I am sure they just got the unit replaced. Most seemed to be branded ones as I recall.
