Someone had a website on ideas where to put your extra duos...but I've lost the URL. Is it meant to fit in that slot on the back of the battery cover cause I tryed it but doesnt seem to want to close with it there. Any ideas ?

It should fit perfectly on top of the battery, as far up towards the camera lense as you can get it.

Or get a leather case from piel frama (I think), which has two slots in the case for duos. Very handy. See elsewhere for loads of comments on the cases (broadly - excellent, prevent damage, but very bulky.)

I totally agree that DUO's just dont fit under the battery cover, it bulges out and seems very unsecure. anyone else have a good idea? i have been thinking about shaving down those little ridges that are inside the battery cover and trying to fit the duo in that way.

No, it only fits there on SOME P800s.
SOme older P800's have a battery cover withotu horizontal supports. WIth those you can easily slip the spare Duo into the space withtout he cover bulging out.
Newer P800s have horizontal support "bars" accross the cover to maeke it stronger. You wont have any joy fitting a duo on those.
I know coz my old p800 had the bars, but when my old one was physically destroyed during a firmware upgrade (Thankyou Carphone warehouse) the replacement they gave me doesnt have the bars, and i find i can slip in a Mem stick quite easily.

@janahan THANK YOU so so much for clearing this up.i was totally buggered about this. i could not figure out what was up with people saying duos fit behind the battery door. i have one with the "bars" so i think i will shave a few off an try it then.

Carefull when u shave off the bars, you may crack the cover (a freind took a file to his, and crakced the bars)
The best way to remove them is with a stanley knife.
and if u do it right, u can cut away the bars in such a way to fit the memstick SNUGLY, and the cover will "retain" the stick in place, so if u open the cover, it wont fall out! how cool is that?!
you can fit a stick in the "top" area, and one in the "bottom" area.
Another thing, removing the bars will weaken the cover a bit (the main reason they were added in the first place).
