OggPlay 0.9 functional beta now available at :
http://www.geocities.com/p800tools/

Stuttering of playback has been partly solved.

The author, Leif H. Wilden, states that ...

Stuttering of the playback while other tasks are active (i.e. reading e-mail, surfing the web etc.) has been greatly reduced. Thanks to Andrew Leadbetter from SonyEricsson who gave some very helpful advice!

Check it out

Grrrr.. Cannot get it to work..

Files won't show.. Anybody else have this problem??

Here's a file-path example..
MSSEMC\P-Series\Media files\audio\This Desert Life\Counting Crows - 06 - High Life.ogg

Isn't that right??

thanks ac for the link.

If like me you find ogg upgrades the only really interesting thing in P800 world at present, you'll love V9

Multi task with virtually no distortion in sound (also OK when sceen saver kicks in), even surf the net.

Excellent new feature allows user to select an album to play, nice.

Thank you Leif for your BRILLIANT app, please keep up the EXCELLENT work.

Change a duo stick and you must use 'Find new files', this is not a problem though.

@nigelot1..

I have tried both my duos.. And i have tried "Find new files"

I have even tried to add an .ogg file to the phone memory.. Could it be that the programm requires the latest SE upgrade?

My phone is on 'old/original' firmware

I switched off my phone and then insert duo and find files and it works.

does this work for you?

Still doens't work..

First i thought it was something with me changing the cluster-size of the duo's.. But it can't be, when it still can't find the file on my phone!

I'm wondering if it has something to do with the way your ogg file is named and is confusing the new folder structure, just a hunch.

when you played a song in v8 did the display show

Time
Track name
Album name
Artist

?
