I can't actually think of any legitimate reasons for cloning a SIM. I mean, you can back-up the phonebook using software, you don't need to clone the whole SIM.
And, if your SIM gets damaged, your Service Provider should replace it.
But if you want to make calls on someone else contract, then you might want to clone their SIM, but that'd be illegal. I don't know whether networks would allow 2 identical SIMs to be active at the same time anyway.

It is good to have two similar SIM if you have two phone, you can choose which to carry without changing the SIM. eg. T610 and a P800

Yes, if you have to phones. It would be great to choose which one you want without changing the SIM-card.
If for example I have a T610 and a R310 which I'd only use when I'm doing something where I wouldn't like to bring my new and shiny T610. Then it would be great.

Vodafone UK offer something similar to
this.@Multisim' or something it's called.
U can have the same phone number on 2 sim cards, but only 1 can access the network at any 1 time.

Is anyone offering a service of SIM cloning, or better still, cloning multiple sims onto SIM+ or similar ?
Don't really want to fork out for all the hardware etc, just for one use.
And are cloned SIMs compatible with GPRS ?
