hi,
my T610, w21, R1A081, broke down after 36h of working-it became sooo hot that i couldn`t take it in my hand, screen was all yellow and couldn`t see anything on it, i hardly moved battery off because cover of battery started to gluing together with phone because of high temperature--------everything happened in STAND BY mode !!!!!!!!
in service they gave me new one, w23, R1A081, and for now is good.no hissing problem(sounds in speaker until conversation , on max., are lower then before !) but sound memory is "0"-lol. w21 had hissing problem(little) but ok memory status.
servicers said that phone took much more energy that is normal-i think that they will send it to Hungary, in main service center for this part.
i had about 15 handies and nothing like that ever happened to me.it cant develops that high temperature, no matter what is the reason of damage!
so BE CAREFUL where u put your T610, not on paper because it can burning paper and whole flat or house !!!!!!!!
Sony CMD-Z5 is the best phone in global which i used for now-that is my opinion.
what do u think-is T610 DANGEROUS ????????

i thought so about battery because that things were happened with t39m, too-batteries were wrong but were NOT made that high temperature!-pity, i must let it to blow up,hehe.
servicers told that battery is ok, buuuuut if i think better about it, i make conclusion that u need at least 48h to make a real TEST for battery !! hhmmm
and when we talking about batteries, do u know that polymer battery will give max. power and longest stand by after maybe 50 recharges?!!-and i think that for polymer batt. is better that never be empty to end!
Li-ion once per month empty to end.The memory effect is very important for batteries.If u do wrong, it will never go to max.
Panasonic EB-GD90 and 92 were also very,very good for me-in that time, maybe i was in first who sent email from mobile in zagreb.
