Hi
Im from Bangalore India using Hutch as my service providers ( Orange to all you guys outside India).I have subscribed to teh GPRS service and its working Ok.Last week I picked up a new pocket PC PDA HP Ipaq H2210 Its got integrated bluetooth for wireless access to the Net.
The Ipaq recognises the phone and vice versa and i can access everything else apart from getting onto the internet as soon as I try my PDA creates a Dial up networking and asks for the phone number to dial into.
Since there is no dial up in GPRS how do i surmount this problem.Please address this issue asap

where n is the CID number of your internet GPRS data setup which you can view by viewing the details of that data account. You don't mention what phone you have so I am assuming T68i/T610. If its a P800 I can't recall where the CID is so you will have to check.
You should also go into setting, then connections, the dialling locations and create a location called GPRS and change the dialling patterns for that to be all just the letter G. This is so the ipaq doesn't try to add country codes etc to the dialling number.
Finally, when you say GPRS works make sure its an internet GPRS data account and not a GPRS WAP data account. To check this simply setup your phone email with your pop3 server and attempt to read email on the phone. If it works then you are using the correct ineternet GPRS account.
