Well, It is not noticeable, but I have got two! It is really hard to see it though, unless if you pay attention to it. Anyone else?

I have another question. When in the clock mode, try pressing the left + or - to light up, look at screen... It is not completely black, but with some red patches around the four sides. Perfectly normal?

Manufacturers have a set limit to the number of dead pixels allowed before a replacement can be requested.
For example: Most TFT screens are allowed up to 12 'bad' coloured pixels (where one of the colours fails) and up to 4 white/black pixels (where the pixel is always white or black).
If you contact SonyEricsson then they will be able to inform you of their limits and you can progress from their.

Regards,

Phil.

The fact that you had to look for it speaks volumes!

people, stop looking for faults, because no matter how perfect the product is, you will find something!

Ripkord, I have to agree with you. I think people are becoming very fanatical about every little problem that is mentioned on Esato.

Fair enough if the person experiences the problem themselves but if they read about it and then go looking for it and then complain or start worrying about returning the phone etc then that I cannot understand.

For example I had not noticed the hiss in my phone until I read it here. I still don't notice it unless I have just read a hiss thread! I will probably get it fixed some time when I get my second T610 but no problem until then.

I also get alot of PMs about various problems that people read here worrying about this and that as though I am some expert on T610 problems! Obviously I help where possible but for my own W17 phone I am very happy and have little to complain about. Less so since R1L upgrade as the phone seems quicker and smoother now.

I havent had any problems with the phone, no hiss, no flicker, there was a line thing in the camera but thats away, there are some dodgy pixels if you look REALLY close, but who cares...

Its crazy how many people go nuts about these little things!

I'm gonna go and get the firmware upgrade anyway, I like to stay up to date with that sort of thing
