Here's the deal,
I moved over from O2 to Orange taking my number with me. When I got my T610 I got a temporary number until my number moved across. Now my number has moved across, but my T610 still recognises the number on the phone as the temp one!!!

Anyone know how to change the "my number" on the T610? Its only a small thing but its irritating.

Phonebook -> Special Numbers -> My numbers.. if that's what you mean.

Should be possible to erase a post if someone already answered while you were typing...

That only lets you view the number, not edit it.

When your number ported from O2 you should have got a sim update or data message from Orange. Erase that, power phone off, take out battery & power back-on. Then it should change over. Regards.

Actually it does allow you to change the number. I just did that.

You *can* edit it from there. I just changed from Orange to O2 and had to change the number manually.
