> Bluetooth- beginner's question
Bookmark topic
Hello all,
Have done a quick search on here and google to no joy. I apologise if it's a bit of a dumb question!
So, over here in the UK the powers that be are going to start fining car drivers for using their phone whilst driving (unless it's hands free) so I'm torn between shelling out for a load of kit or just a bluetooth headset for my P800. What I'd like to know is what the dangers of Bluetooth are? ie does it have the same sort of radiation floating around it that the phone itself does?
Any thoughts and views welcome.
Thanks!

Think about it , your phone has to transmit over a couple of miles to the nearest basestation, bluetooth 10 metres max to you phone now which is going to have more signal power.

in the spirit of asking beginners questions about bluetooth headsets
i was just curious if your using a bt headset and go out of range what happens
do u just get static then nothing and then when u come back in range it comes back or do u lose the call
and when u have a call how do u transfer it to the headset does the headset have a on off button or do u have to select it on the phone

BT is very low/no risk to health, but for car use why not just get a cheap cigar lighter plugin kit kit with its own speaker, they are about £40 & they work fine.
