BT static IS STILL THERE but just a LITTLE softer and lesser...
around 20% to 30% reduction and 25% softer ..
Useable but still annoying.... sound earpice/ringtones are still loud
SE must SOLVE this in their next FW !!!

I got my T610 upgraded to R1L yesterday at Causeway Bay.
I left my phone at the service ctr at about 14:00 and picked it up again at 18:00. It seems that the BT-Handsfree(especially when using the HBH-60) crackling problem had not been fully resolved even after the upgrade is done. But the sound quality(via HBH-60) is indeed better than before the upgrade. Perhaps I need to bring my HBH-60 to the service centre for checking/replacement too.

The hissing problem is supposed to be hardware related and service centres in Europe are replacing those units... no?
