> Camera Resolution for new phones

is it just me, or are these new phones with cameras worse than the mca20 and the mca25. i mean the t610 has a max resolution of only 288x352. i love my t68i and it's accessories. I know they want to make new styles, but t68i is too sweet, they should make a sweet model with all the newest goods. 640x480 should be the standard i say.

The screen resolution cannot support that size and the phone has to reduce it for display. If you have higher res pics then it takes longer to email and therefore costs more on gprs or dial up time and MMS has limits to how much you can send in a picture message too.
On the other hand, 640 x 480 is not quality enough for pics you want to transfer to pc to keep for memories so you are better off getting a real digital cam with 2 or 3 mega pixels. They are cheap enough these days.
