> T610 crash - new software?

Hi!
About a week ago my t610 freezed while i was takin' a picture. After a reeboot anything was gone... basic software is aviable but no sounds, no sms tones, no games, no themes (apart from the basic theme). Fist i was a little bit happy because now i got 2000kb free space... and i dont need this games, the basic pics and the themes... but i need my sms tones. I could not send sms tones to my t610 as far as i know. the melody editor doesn't work too. Any way to make a software update?
Any way to get sms tones?

A master reset should bring back the default (non deletable) stuff. Just make sure you backup (or write down) any important data beforehand

[edit2] hmmm.... how to make a master reset? I thought i have to go in Preferences and reset my phone there.. but after my phone restarted there where my themes (which i sent to my phone via ir) my ringtones (which i sent to my phone via ir) and my profiles are there... but no sms sounds.... sh..

i made the master reset like u said
Settings - master reset - reset all - now there are my themes, my ringtones,... ..the only thing which is reset is the time, my wap profiles are gone and the date is 1.1.00 again. But the tones wich were missing - are missing

not wanting to start a new thread consdering one of my question is related to this topic.
Has anyone experienced their T610 crashing when they recieve a text message? Not MMS, just plain simple SMS. It doesnt happen all the time but once in a while and then my phone just freezes and the only want I can reset it is by taking out the battery. I tried to do a search on this on this forum but found nothing.
Does it sound like I need a software upgrade or a replacement phone?

Can't answer your question as I don't have a T610, but rather than remove the battery (not recommended, apparently, on the grounds you may damage data), press the off (No?) button for ten seconds - same result on T68i and P800.

And i heard about a problem receiving sms from alphanumeric numbers - they let freeze your phone for 30 (!) seconds! - an firmware update let it work fine.
