in tho old version it wouldn't return to SMS1 once it has passed to SMS2 but in R2B it falls in 1 SMS automatically unless you use special characters

I do type in french too. I had R2A013 now I have R2D and yes the bug is fixed. Though you have to type without the special characters like ê, ç, â & others. You can do that by using the "+" button or using the joystick, it always shows the same word without any accent...
We will have to wait for the next update to have the "national characters" (->
