I was in the bath and and using my phone and then when i got out the bath and went to use it the screen has gone all blury at the bottom. I think it's condensation. Can anyone advise me on what to do? Should i go to a repair place and can they just wipe it or something or have i got to get a new screen or have i (daren't say it) got to get a new phone. If it can be wiped clean or something should i get it done properly (any ideas on Cost?) or can i do it myself. I'm not to confident to do this though cos i'm not exactly a specialist. Lastly is there any chance i could just put it in warmth and clear it that way?

Firstly, It wasn't a very clever thing to do was it

If I were you, I would open the phone and let it dry, there are several threads on this site with instructions on how to open it....

Good luck

nah the same thing happened to me with my 8210 - i was in a hot bath on the phone for ages getting ready to go out and when I got out my phone was f**ked, screen all ,mucked up and some of the buttons weren't working so I stopped playing with it, turned it off and in the morning or maybe even the day after that it was back to normal

That's worrying.

But my question is, to remove the case do i need a special screwdriver or just a small one? And if i do need a special screwdriver then where do i get one from and how much will it cost me?

Thanks

a special screwdriver with a torque setting is used by service centers to open phones so that the screws arn't over-tightened but if you are carefull this wont cause any harm, as to the "bit" we get ours from ericsson but in a visit over the weekend to B&Q a hardware store you can get them they are sold various sizes, i would suggest if you do have to open the phone and can't get it sorted by a service center then take the phone a long with you when you buy the bit so you get the corrct one.
ps just in case you do get confused when putting the phone back together the two longest screws go in the top of the phone !!!

the screw driver you need is the torx 6 sold at maplins for about £3.

@wolf how do you remove the top section of the phone without breaking it?
