Hi Senninha, GSM is not the biggest network on Brasil, but is the fastest growing network nowdays. with about one year it represents 15% of the mobile phones? Brazil has 4 big operators, 3 of them supports GSM, only Vivo (Telefonica de Espana + Portugal Telecom) uses CDMA 1xRTT.

The usage of data services represents only 2% of the total revenues on brazilian operators. But there are several initiatives to increase it, mostly via Corporate solutions.

I hope it helps you.

Best,

Antonio
