Here is the product support page for the MCA-10. Under compatibility it lists the T39 so I guess it is correct.

Yeah, you could do it with my old T65 apparently too. I never tried it though so I'm not sure it the phone attempted previews of the pics with it's 4-colour greyscale screen.
