Hi,
I do not have a T610 now, but planned to get on soon.
I noticed that T610 is WAP 2.0 compliant, and according to some materials it can do E2E (end-to-end) WAP connection. Has any one tested this setting ? That is, use WAP without setting a gateway.
From my knowledge, E2E works like a PC browser to a web server, hence the phone must be assigned with a unique IP address ?

The T610 supports WAP 2.0 (CSS and xHTML), but does not support the WAP 2.0 HTTP stack, which is not a mandatory requirement for WAP 2.0 compliance. Comming products will have full WAP 2.0 compliance including the WAP 2.0 HTTP stack and thereby direct access to the content server without a intermidiate gateway.
