Not really. T610 is better for general everyday use. Only plus for spv is real internet browser and speakerphone. But u can get html browser for t610 now. This message was posted from a T610

try this thread for some info on the SPV E100 (HTC Tanager model) on the Other Manufacturers board.

of the top some of the main differences: the current SPV E100 (SMART Amazing Phone / i-Mate) has (SD/MMC) memory expansion, no camera built-in (external clip-on), transflective TFT (some difference in displays here: transmissive, reflective or transflective), no Bluetooth built-in

although a new model (HTC Voyager) which is rumoured to integrate bluetooth and a camera, and the new version of Microsoft's SmartPhone OS in to the mix aimed for end of year... which would really catch up on some of the hardware specs being pushed into units from SE and Nokia...

SPV is more a smartphone contender so it would be pitched against the likes of a Series 60 and maybe even an alternative to a UIQ based device...

T610 built-in WAP browser can display pure HTML sites (but only very basic ones).

I was amazed to find I can access my own web-page on the T610, even though it doesn't look good!
