> Broken flap on P800
Bookmark topic
Hi folks,
about a week ago i noticed my number pad/flap was not responding well at all when i was trying to dial phone numbers. After looking at it more carefully i noticed one of the tabs (on the right side) that hold the flap off the screen when closed had broken off.
I called SE Support and they told me that this part was not available yet
I know i can remove the flap and use the phone without it but i personally am not fond of using the phone that way. Has anyone else run in to this problem and have any other solutions ?
I guess i can always try to fabricate something and super glue it on for the time being.

Are you sure that there's no part for it from SE yet? Will it be available later?

Same problem here, they are suppose to be sending me one under warranty. They said it was on backorder and it hasn't showed up yet, go figure.

i agree. but i put it back once or twice just to see if it really looks better with the "flap"(hehehe) on. Trying to convince myself that it looks better. but NAH, it definitely looks better without it.
It makes the nokia users drool since P800 has a touch screen.

I had the same problem and I was in Hong Kong at the time. They sold me a new one for $10 us. Maybe I should buy some more and put them on ebay...
