The average user who doesn't know much of phones gets a nokia cauze all his friends/relatives/co-workers who know nothing of phones have it... The sad fact is, most people are mobile phone dumbusers... It seems to me that Nokia vs SE is very much like Wolksvagen vs Subaru. Subaru too is a much better car, but it's as comfortable and simple as WV.

The reason why SE is not beating NOKIA in sales is because people post rumors of new SE phones which don't exist This message was posted from a P800

Not really, windows is as fully featured as mac os, and is far cheaper (based on hardware costs). Unlike nokia.

It is because of the amount of 3310s that nokia sell, every body has or has had one, i work on elevators and we get through alot of phones, and they are cheap to replace and reliable, i have never seen a 3310 go of to have a software upgrade (or for that matter repaired ,there just chucked away) This message was posted from a T300

SE is loosing about €17 per unit sold of the T610. That's one reson why they are down. I dunno if that goes for the world or just sweden where a T610 goes for something like €0.1 with Vodafone. I guess they try to get as manny units as possible sold and thus making their name known as the "cool" phone that T610 is and Nokia where back when Ericsson provided the 7xx series. That way they may make more cash in the long run.

y r SE phones sold out on websites all the time and still not market leaders?
simple

less users who r phone-savy (such as us), thus will not look on the internet for their phones, but their local store
they see a lot of features in the phone and figure "too complicated"
so they get the phone with the idiot proof handling
(I like nokia, dont get me wrong)
ppl want simplicity and figure "a phone is made to call"
how many P800s users hv heard that before???
they figure that there is no point in spending money on features that will complicate their lives and that they will never use

ppl r lazy asses that never want to learn new things..
