> Who/What Led you to SE in the very beginning……?

Hi to all,
I’m just curious, Question 1: In the beginning, what or who influenced your decision on purchasing of an SE as your choice of brand for a cell phone?
Question 2 : What was the very first model of SE cell phone that you had?
Like me for instance, Ans.1 it was a gift from my dad.

A friend of mine said Ericsson made quality phones. So I got an Ericsson (a1018s) and liked it a lot. Got my wife hooked on Ericsson as well now
She has a T65 and my T300 and I now have a T610.
Interestingly that was the only Ericsson my friend ever used, after that he used Nokias, go figure.
Got another friend hooked on Ericsson because I recommended the a1018s as a cheap quality phone to his sister and he later on got that one from her. He uses that one now and likes it a lot.
Collegues and other people were always strangely attracted to the big square a1018s with it's large antenna, somehow it looked interesting to them
EDIT:
Oh and when I went to the store because of the display flicker of my T610 I (well, the T610 itself, I didn't say anything) got the guy working there very interested in it, he liked it a lot and admitted being an avid Nokia fan. He was now considering the T610 as his next phone.

My first Ericsson phone was an A1018s (they used to be popular!!!), second was a T65 now a T300.
I guess I am just sick of all the bullshit about how Nokia is so great.

2) My very first ericsson was an ericsson s868...battleship chassis...i even show my friends how i roll it down the stairs and will still work.

at very beginning, only available GSM phone is Moto 8200 in 1993 in China, I got that, but the battery often disconnect and phone off without I know. I changed with a better Ericsson 388 in 1996. This is first time I use Ericsson.
388 lost in 1999 and I bought another Moto L2000 with the best voice I think (like line phone). Till then, it's only be used a phone only.
Last year, I was amazed with T68's functionality, I bought a T68. Now I have a Chinese version of T610 (T618)

1) my first ericsson was GH337, tough one. never been broken after millions time droped unless one time i accidently droped in the water and i used ericsson since.... my last ericsson was R320s, great one.... this is the first ericsson with wap capability and i love it....
2) just had my t610 for a 5 weeks and after R1L013 i even more love it....
