> t610 hissing and flickering

i only have the hissin and the flickerin problem, how can i get rid of this, do i need to go to carphone warehouse and have the fone software updated ??

Ummm, if you search, you can find all your answers on this forum.
But anyway, the hissing can NOT be solved by a firmware upgrade, as it requires the replacement of a few components. This can be done free-of-charge if you send it to the SonyEricsson repair centre: Celestica. Call 01952 230402 (I think).
The flickering is somewhat normal, as STN screens (used in the T610) have to scan the screen (like a PC monitor). This creates the flickering, although I hardly ever notice it.
You might want to take it back to CarphoneWarehouse and see if you can get a replacement, as it may be covered by their 28 day guarantee.
