> midi files/polyphonic ringtones

i have downloaded some midi files to use as ringtones for my T300 but the midi files are full songs and take up about 30kb, does any one know where i can get software to "split" the midi files (so i can take the chorous of the song and use that as a ringtone) sorry if this doesn't make sense

I use Anvil Studio. Its free and quite easy TRUNCATE midi files.
