My camera shows a thin pinkish line when it takes photos in a not so bright place, the pinkish line is very obvious, I really can't stand it.. Is my camera faulty? But when my phone takes photos in a brightly lit place the line is hardly visible.. Anyone suggestions on why?

Is the line vertical, horizontal? at the centre or edge of the ecreen.
If you look at a dark picture that you either downloaded or is pre-defined, can you see the line?? If so, it's the screen. If not, it's the camera. Does it save the pictures with the line on??

It is a horizontal line that kind of cuts the upper portion.. It doesn't appear for photos uploaded to my phone.. But when i take photos in a dark condition.. I'll see it.. It must be camera problem.. Heard that a firmware upgrade can fix this..
Thanks for your help, I appreciate it..

I had blue lines in my fone too. Same scenario. Its a good thing they replaced it with a new unit and upgrade it as well. If the problem persists after upgrade, have it replaced. That is if your fone is under warranty.

I have the same problem.... so does this mean that my phone is damaged...? I still have 3 days before my replacement warranty expires... Should i return the phone and get a new one? Please advise... Thank you!

I would exchange it quickly until your exchange date expires. Check the camera right there in the store.

Is it an actual solid line or is it just a prominent noise that tends to form a line?
Most images taken with the SE VGA camera (like K700, K500) in poorly lit places tend to have these types of noise specially with the old firmware. Even the new firmware still has some significant noise that sometimes look like a pale line horizontally across the image, mostly they are in a reddish hue. I believe this is a camera limitation. I don't know if there's a fix to this one apart from cleaning up the image using software filters.
