With wanting to move to a new T610 PAYG i am left with a t68i on contract adn a nokia 3310 on payg - all of which are with orange. Now what is the best thing i can do.
1) on the nokia 3310 i have PAYG with the 5 free texts a day
2) on the t68i i have my favoured number - i am cancelling in a month so will this change.
3) the t610 will then come with its on payg sim card with a difo number once again but aswell it wont have the free texts
I want to make it a quick simple process so that ideally the 3310 becomes redundant and the t610 has the free texts-and then i can fob the t68i off to me missis. However cyren dont do number porting so is the only option i have left to simply buy another 5free texts a day pack and shove that on the t610

Why dont you just keep your number and buy a sim-free t610?

Port the number you like to virgin and buy a sim free t610.
The two problems with virgin are it uses t-mobile inferstructure and they do not yet offer gprs/mms.

See if you can port your favourite number to your five texts a day sim. Then put the sim that gets registered with the t610 in the t68.

Five texts a day for free? Thats not very much

Its really affordable to pay those pennies extra every month to get things just the way you want it
