I'd really love to have Russian support in email client. I've checked the headers of outgoing messages, and it appears that p800 email client uses unicode (UTF8). How can I send messages containing Russian characters?
Also, when I view emails which are in Russian, I see rectangular signs instead of letters. Maybe proper font is missing or something. Anyone has any idea?
The strangest thing is that SMS messages in Russian get displayed properly.

Could it be problems with the communication between mail server and phone, if your using GPRS that is? Just a thought..

Ok, I found everything by myself

what a surprise!
What I did was a simple installation of RusKEY software, which can be downloaded from here:
http://www.hpc.ru/soft/softlist.phtml?pl263=on&c3=on
It's free, but it will ask you to register once in a while. In order to register, follow the instructions on this site:

(russian only, sorry)
I've checked both sending and receiving of SMS and email messages - works like a charm. Cheers!
