HI all...
I am a newbie to the se t610 after previously owning a se t300 .. I have noticed that here the icons in the menu are different to mine .. i downloaded the Radiak theme which i have to say is kewl! but the icons have stayed the same .. Could you tell me if i can change the icons or are they in permanent rom ..

Is your phone locked to Vodaphone? If so that is why your logos look different (and probably Shiter!). Vodaphone have put there own software on the T610 including different menu icons! There are lots of posts on here about the Vodaphone stuff. Do a search m8!

You can't change the icons. They are part of the phone firmware. In order to change them, the phone would have to be flashed with a different customization.
In plain english: If you want to keep your warranty it can only be done by professionals at SonyEricsson Service Center. (And they probably won't do it)

It's a hassle i know but if you did it yourselve and it fucd up then you have a brand new paperweight, but if SE fucd up, then you have a nw phone without ANY branding OR network locks...
I have a Voda T610 too and it really pains me to see what they've done to a great phone.
BTW i'm going tommorro to get mine flashed up at SE... those physical brandings will come off with a little file (as in a metal one) and patience...

I bought a Vodaphone live T610 from CPW in Nov. I've been real disappointed with the software change - especially the icons - you just can't see them!
I took my phone back in to a CPW which has a repair workshop in -store. They willingly agreed to flash the software back to the original SE spec! -totally free of charge too.
Fantastic aftersales service or what!
