Hi
I have just ordered a T28 datacable.
I have got

T610_EU1_R1A081.zip
&
Full Flashing Server V31.

What do I have to do now.
There is a user name and password login box, do I need this.
I really have to get rid of the vodacrap stuff.

Read the e-mail you received with login and password. Everything you have to do is to follow all the steps.

Hey akan7

The upgrade process was as easy as pie.
All the menu icons have been restored to the SE originals,
The Vodafone Live icon in the bottom right corner of display has gone,
I didn't lose any of my phone book numbers, or ringtones, or games.
The vodafone animated screensaver in my pictures has not been removed though which is a bit of a bummer as I will never use it and would rather have the free memory space.

It still takes me to vodafone live unfortunately, but hey, all the shitty icons are gone and the themes look better now without the ugly red thing in bottom right corner of desktop.
To be honest, I never used the button on the side of the phone anyway.

Cobbler, do you need access to the phone to flash it? What i mean is I dont have a vodafone sim, so i cant even get into the phone at all, just after the pin screen it says "insert correct sim card".

Will i need to borrow somones vodaphone sim to get it flashed or will it flash it regardless?

Thanks

hi

my phone was turned off when it was flashed.
so, probably no need for sim but don't quote me on that.
You're best bet would be to contact logosunlimited and ask them, they are very helpful and know what they are talking about.
You download the software and the firmware from their site and then pay them for a username and password to log into the flashing program. It only takes about 5 minutes to do as well.

Here is a link for ya.
