Arrrrrggggggggghh....
Yesterday at approx 3.15 pm, I reached to grab my ice cold pint of lemon juice - i misjudged the distance and knocked the pint sideways...
time slowed down, and i watched in horror as the sticky liquid engulfed my week 23 T610, which happened/typically to be lying beside my pint!!
I went into automatic pilot, dried the phone immediately with a towel and switched off for a bit!
I turned it back on and................................
it came on. lol
all seems fine, but I have read somewhere if you spill liquid on a phone it will eventually malfunction. Dosent matter how small the volume of liquid, you must take it to a specialist!!!
can anyone shed light on this?
has anyone spilt any kind of liquid on their phone (bodily fluids inc - lol) - what happened?????
dammit - im so mad i did that!!!

I've lost two phones to liquids. One (Startac) fell out of my shirt pocket down into the toilet bowl! and the other (8210) slipped into a bacardi and coke.
Both worked after immediately removing the battery and drying thoroughly but both failed totally after 2 - 3 months.

I work in IT Support and we've had loads of laptops which have been covered in liquid. Most have been water, and some coffee and tea. Luckily none of these have had sugar in them, and after stripping them down,soaking the water up, and leaving to dry overnight, they've all worked fine afterwards.

this was my most expensive phone ever and the first one i ever spilt any form of liquid on!!!!!

I managed to drop my S868 into the toilet bowl (the water was clean though) and it worked well for me for 8 months after that incident.

I had an 8210 which had a pint of Beer spilt on it. I switched it back on and nothing!
I stripped the phone dried it, cleaned all the contacts and put it back together. It worked fine then!
Until about 5 months later and the display gave up and keys became dodgy!

im almost tempted to open the damn thing up myself!!!
i bet im worrying for nothing!!
i wonder if i had insurance would this have been covered
