hi i have t-310 using GPRS at 40kbps.Is there any setting inside the mobile that restricts the speed .I mean apart from the network Provider is there any setting inside the mobile by which speed can be increased or decreased

the maximum speed is determined by how many timeslots the phone support... then which speed you really get when using GPRS is determined by how many timeslots there are free to use at the time

I was talking of advanced settings in T-310 -
Quality of service
Precedence
delay
reliability
peak rate
mean rate
in my phone they are all set to subscribed only reliability set to Class 3
I just wan't to know that will the speed be affected if i change the rest Parameters peak rate Etc.

i have T310 i can only download Polyringtones upto 2 KB does dat mean that my connection speed is 2K.first day it gave a speed of 4-5K but now it has come down.
aslo i think i downloaded wallpapers of around 4-5 kb from here but why i m unable to download poly ringtones
