Hi there,
Is there a software power-off, or is it always power-button off?
Cheers, Steven.

This just happened: I downloaded the No Refuge demo from mophun, tried to run it and got the following message: \"Error running... Your phone needs to be restarted. Restart now?\" I pressed YES and indeed the phone shut down and then restarted. Since there is a restart command there definitely must be one to shutdown. Now you have to find someone that knows the command's syntax. Good luck!
P.S. Why would you need it anyway?!

I'm using miniGPS, which tracks transmitter base stations.
You can set an action/event to occur when your phone comes into proximity of a base station. For example, around my home-town rail station, there are about 6 transmitter masts. I get my phone to recognise them all, add them to a 'Station' group, and then I can set the alarm to go off when the phone comes into range of one of the transmitters in the group - handy when you get the train home drunk!
I'd like the phone to switch off as an event....
Steven.

I was playing around with this once and there is a command which when invoked will shut down the phone. I cant remember what it is but ill try find it again. Youd have to write a small app to do it tho as you cant run this file other than finding and selecting it with a file manager.
