Maybe people have asked the same question, but does the new software update make your T68 faster, for example when writing SMS', cruising your telephone book.
I have the R1B SW on my phone, I have the impression that's the old one right?

People are claiming for every update that the phone gets faster. Maybe its true. But if it is its not much. I cant notice any real difference. And for T9 input i say defenately thats it does not make the phone faster.
To summarize:
Does an update make my T68 faster?
Maybe. But not so it makes much difference.
Does an update make my T68 fast?
No way. I doubt that the T68 will ever be quick to respond to your input with any update that may come. Its sad to say but the T68 is a very slow phone. period. (If i would prove to be wrong in the future i would of course be more than happy.)

Mann....T9 is so damn slow...I keep typing and this phone just keeps working till about 4 seconds or more (if I type a long sentence...) so depressing....

Upgraded from R1C to R2B software improves my Bluetooth Headset HBH-10 Connection better. Before upgrade, the successful connection rate were merely 50 %. After upgrade, 100% connection achieved.

ALL8 > Yep,..With almost any sw-upgrade there are improvements on the connectivity-part, e.g. bluetooth, gprs, wap.
Well the sms is faster on the T68i than on my T68m (with R2B).
Although not using this feature much, even I can see that
