Hi guys i have been trying to get my p800 to connect to my pc since the first week i got it i have had it 6 weeks and been having no luck. i was going to take it back tomorrow and swap it for another one but i decided to have one last go at getting it working so i searched the esato forums and tried everything and then i read a post by 'oferlaor' where he said to make sure the connection mode was in pc connect as soon as i read this i felt like such a mong (i am a software engineer) i knew this would be the problem and i tried it and guess what IT WORKED!!!!!! so now i dont have to take it back but now i need to know what cool things i should install first please tell me your favourite apps, games etc that you just cant live without!( looks like i am gonna have to get a 128DUO now!)

can anyone who uses the irremote programs confirm it is a safe ware to install. i have heard a lot of crap about it crashing p800's

thanks guys i have installed traker 2.0 and it seems good and i have irremote0.9 but it doesnt actully work with any of the electronics in my home any tips?

press all the buttons!! the "power off" setting in the Sony HiFi profile actually increases the volume on my system.... dont know why you cant create ure own profile really....
also try version 0.92

ir remote has never crashed my phone (started with 0.8 ) but it did stop working after i registered it after the evaluation period has expired (this is under 0.9)
0.92 fixes the not working thing but it still won't remember my reg code and expires after a few mins of use *sniff*
