Has anyone with a T68i sent an MMS message yet, does any network support it? Is this the reason why so few T68i's have been released?

I think the reason why no network support the MMS because they are waiting for the fu***ng 7650 model from NOKIA

does anyone agree?

Possibly right there guys... BUT
Why would they want to delay MMS availability when the T68i CAN do it.. and the t68 after its been upgraded too... surely a Sp like Vodaphone will attract LOADS more customers saying that they have the technology and are leading the way.. thats just here in UK. Most likely the same around the world too.
i think that Sp should keep hardcore users (like us

) more informed and uptodate with the situation so we dont get all kinda posts saying that they heard this n that.
Still.... I want a t68i....

The problem is, would networks provide a feature, if no one is gonna use it??? They would be losing money until there were more phones that could use it.
So in a way they probably are waiting for the 7650

Why would they loose money? Ok, maybe
there electric bill get's a bit higher, let's
say 0,00001%, but what more than that?
I thought that they would test it on the field
before a big boom but it seems like I was wrong...

I have sent an MMS. It was with the T68m beta software. 5 pictures and some text was sent from one phone to another. Took about 10-15 seconds both to send, and to receive the MMS.

Okay, maybe i phrased it wrong. I meant would the networks really wanna invest into something that wouldnt be used alot in the first few years. It will be at least 2 or 3 years before the majority of phone users will have interest in MMS. When a cheap(ish) phone is released with mms capabilities, it would take off. But with the prices at what they are now, it wont be a success at this point in time.

hey MixiN.. how you feeling today?? still a poorly boy??

:D
Anyway... think about it guys... Vodaphone are to be the 1st network in UK to have MMS availability and yes theyve spent a lot of money on the technology - its there.. just waiting to be used.. unless they are testing it more for bugs/flaws.. wotever. Other SP will soon follow suit, or they already have, not that ive heard anything about it.
if you look on Lycos site... they have some information on MMS that they are doing!!! AND thats LYCOS!!!
Vodaphone for example will want to heavily promote there new MMS capability so im sure that they wont wait for the Nokia to be released seeing that they will want to gain more customers and that the T68i is soon to be released..In May - so thats when MMS will be available in UK... by Vodaphone....
