I have been having a lot of truoble getting a Laptop to go on the internet via a Belkin Bluetooth Adaptor, P800 and Orange (UK) GPRS.
It was connecting to the phone, but only getting as far as connectiong with orange and not the world.
After speaking to a lot of "Customer Service Advisors", reciving countless SIM updates and Auto Updates, using the SE drivers etc etc, i finally found out that the P800 was chosing the WAP access point by default - hence no internet access.
To fix this problem i was told i would need to go to control panel > modems > Bluetooth Modem > Properties > Advanced > Modem Initilisation String
The initilisation string is therefore
+cgdcont=1,"IP","orangeinternet"
Re-tried the dial up connection and it worked - that Orange employee must now be unemployed - he actually mangaged to give a working solution!
Anyways, i hope this is a help to some one, saving you from the horrors of Timberlake and S Club Jnrs that Orange love on their on hold music.
[EDIT] The phone number you need to dial is *99# - no username or password required. [/EDIT]

Nice 2 see u've solved ur problem - I'm busy battling 2 do d same with my T68i & T-Mobile UK GPRS - but my laptop ain't got b-tooth, just IR. Any tips? How do I make the PC use d T68i as a modem? Do I need 2 install anything on d laptop or can I use d synchronisation option in d phone?

On my T68i when first waving it front of the laptop;'s IR port it installs itself as a modem (Windows 2000 Pro and Server), for GSM you'd just use that modem in theory - unlike the place i work at i havn't got the money to try it on my own T68i.
If you can get that bit working (try
www.hotlinks.co.uk for 0845 per minute access) you can go to the GPRS lever - possibly the phone number of *99# will work for that too? (T-Mobile may have a different number)

Didn't even need to install that.
In Control Panel > Modems is the T68i listed as a modem?
