> (T610) Sending recorded conversation to PC

When you record a telephone conversation on the T610 it saves the recording with the name of the person. When I tried sending it via bluetooth/OBEX FTP it didn't work. I recieved "Sending Failed" and "Invalid FTP request" respectively.
On closer examination I discovered the "Home Number" Phonebook Icon in front of the name. (I called that person on a home number) That was the problem. It appears that in the phonebook the "Home Number" is denoted by "?" character which effectively screws up file transfer.
So, in order to be able to send such "difficult" conversation recordings, simply choose "Rename" from the "More" menu on the phone, and remove the Icon denoting the number type (typically the first thing in the name)

In my sounds the call to home had the house symbol and the call to voicemail had the speech bubble symbol.
I transferred both to my ipaq using obex. Both transferred fine but the home one had a hollow square symbol at the from of the name whereas the voicemail just had the name voice mail.
I don't have my Sony bluetooth dongle with me right now but I will try with that but since it worked with my ipaq I suggest whatever bluetooth software you are using on your pc is possibly failing? although clearly the phone seems to be at fault in some ways by trying to send the symbol for the type of call.
It doesn't have any problem when transferring ringtones even though they too have a musical note symbol.
I also tested with work and mobile and they both appear on my ipaq with a hollow square symbol too.

It could be incompatebility with the Code Page in windows. Perhaps this problem exists only in some localized (non-english) versions, but as long as the problem exists I though I should make the solution avaiable.
By the way, I tested this on Windows 2000, so it might run smoothly on XP.

Even if it does work on mine I would still have to edit the name to remove the errant symbol so your 'fix' is probably as good as any.

It might be the phone firmware localization as well. I have a scandinavian version. When I go to OBEX FTP session, the house simbol is not denoted by a hollow square like yours. It's denoted by a question mark. Question mark is a wildcard/Illigal filesystem character in Windows, therefore the transfer fails.
This might be limited to the Scandinavian versions of the firmware, can someone give it a try?
