is it just me or have they taken to T610 off the o2 website. cos i like the O2 online tarrifs better than the o2 street tariffs as you get 500 msgs a month

I reckon they're just updating the price info for the phone. I called up the upgrade line about 2 weeks ago and the guy took my order for the T610 priced at £49.99 and he said it'd take about 10-14 days!
The 14 days passed and I called up to enquire as to why I hadn't received an email about despatch (as so many people o here did). I was told by the lovely Yvette that my card had been declined......AT THE TIME I MADE THE INITIAL ORDER!!! Why didn't geezer on the other end tell me then!! grrr.
Anyway it was a blessing in disguise as when I placed another order with Yvette she told me the price had reduced to £29.99. Result.
So I think O2 are just updating thier prices which is why the T610 is not showing as being available right now.

You heard from O2 since regarding the dispatch of your order? I ordered a T610 upgrade on Monday, paid my £29.99, and my Visa has since been debited. But I also got an email from their dispatch centre saying they are currently out of stock. I rang to inquire today and was tentatively quoted the 4th of August as a possible date when they will get more handsets in.

500mins off peak +50xnet calls 100sms £20
or
100xnet anytime mins +100 sms £25
but they cant do the o2 online deals

If you're willing to wait a little bit I'd go with the online tariffs instead.
Online OffPeak 500: 500 mins Off-Peak plus 500 texts = £20 per month
Online 100: 100 Anytime minutes plus 500 texts = £25 per month
Much better value but.........Are you willing to wait?!!!

Called them today after hearing nothing for over 2 weeks now, only to be told it's out of stock!
"Sorry Sir, we can't tell you when they will be in!" How can they NOT know when stock will be in?
It's back on their website now so hopefully it'll be to my front door soon............Not gonna hold my breath anymore though I'm already going a scary shade of blue!

Yeah the T610 has appeared, got some £50 trade in deal on it now, but my question is, its showing the sliver version and i wanted to know if O2 online were gonna offer the blue and red ones. Id buy the blue one, even if it was a little more expensive than the silver one!
